Before you cancel
Flight cancellation and change rules are set by the operating airline and your specific fare type — check your booking confirmation for the applicable terms. Most discounted fares carry limited or no flexibility; flexible fares typically allow changes for a fee.
How to cancel
- Sign in to your CTE account
- Go to "My Bookings" and select your flight
- Click "Cancel Booking" — the applicable refund or fee will be shown before you confirm
- You'll receive a confirmation email with any refund or credit details
If your flight was cancelled or changed by the airline
If the airline cancels or significantly changes your flight, you're typically entitled to a full refund or free rebooking, per the airline's policy and applicable passenger rights regulations. We'll notify you directly if this happens and walk you through your options. See also Traveler Rights.
Refund timing
Airline refunds can take longer to process than hotel refunds — often 7–20 business days depending on the carrier. Track your refund status under "My Bookings."
